מטרת האיגוד: קידום טכנולוגיה חדשה לשימוש נכון ומושכל בקרב רופאי השיניים
התפתחות הטכנולוגית של מכשירי הלייזר לאורך השנים, הניבה עשרות מחקרים חדשים בתחום, במקביל לפיתוח יישומים קליניים חדשים תוך כדי שימוש בטכנולוגיית הלייזר.
ראינו צורך בהקמתו מחדש של האיגוד בעקבות ההתפתחות טכנולוגית של הלייזר בשנים האחרונות בארץ ובעולם. בעקבות התקדמות המחקר, נרכש ידע רב בהבנתו פעילותו של מכשיר הלייזר ויעילותו על רקמה קשה ורכה בחלל הפה. המחקרים המבוצעים באוניברסיטאות ירושלים ותל אביב בשיתוף פעולה עם אוניברסיטאות שונות בעולם מקדמים אותנו לטיפול יעיל וחדשני.
הארגון הישראלי יפעל ליצירת תשתית מחקרית בנושא ולקידומו בקרב רופאי השיניים הישראליים והציבור בישראל.
דרכי פעולה:
קידום השימוש בטכנולוגית מכשירי הלייזר ברקב רופאי השיניים תתבצע על ידי מפגשים שיכללו הרצאות והדרכה, ימי עיון בשיתוף עם המוסדות האקדמיים בארץ, ימי עיון בהר"ש , כנסים בינלאומיים ואתר האיגוד.
